Clarifying Questions
Shailesh: Before that, I would like to clarify some questions, first one is How big is this problem? Do we have some data around % Rides getting Reported for Lost Items?
Interviewer: Yes this is a big problem to solve for Uber, currently ~2% of the Rides are getting reported as Lost Items, which has been increasing in the last few years as well.
Shailesh: Okay, also I want to understand our end goal of designing the Product, There can be different goals like
1. Reducing % of Rides having items lost
2. Reducing the SLA ( time ) to return the Lost item
3. Increasing the effectiveness of the Returning the Correct Item.
