Microsoft Teams see a 50% decrease in Downloads for New Users. What would you do?

My first reaction would be 50% decrease in the download is a lot and it’s concerning.

Then I would ask questions to understand the problem in greater detail.

1. Have we seen some behaviour in the Repeat Users are they also not using it, have we seen some drop in retention?
2. When this trend is going on? Is this sudden or Gradual? Highly likely it should be a sudden drop because a gradual 50% decline will get a lot of eyeballs and people should have spoken about it earlier
3. What Device? Desktop or Mobile? What OS? Windows, Mac, Android or iOS?
4. Is there any particular geography that is causing this issue

Technical/Reporting Issues

1. Is reporting, dashboard, and telemetry data everything working fine or not?
2. I would also check the Request per minute ( traffic ) to see if this is a telemetry or data issue or if something is off
