4 steps Framework to solve metric based questions
After asking clarification questions to understand the question in a better way, follow this 4 step process.
Step 1: Talk about the Goal, Vision, and growth phase of the company.
Step 2: From there talk about the different stakeholders and what are actions the stakeholders must take to achieve that goal.
Step 3: After that think about the metrics which you must track corresponding to that actions. Always give 1 north star metric and 3–4 supporting metrics. Also, talk about different metrics like business metrics and technology metrics as well.
Step 4: Try to evaluate those metrics and think about some pitfalls in defining those metrics and discuss every corner case of the suggested metrics.
